Method 1: Online Access (Recommended)

Choose Access Method

Select "Get Transcript Online" if you have an IRS account, or "Get Transcript by Mail" for delivery to your address on file.

If you don't have an account, create one using your email, SSN, and filing status. You'll need to verify your identity.

Complete identity verification using your mobile phone, credit card, or other financial account information.

Choose the type of transcript you need (Tax Return, Account, Record of Account, or Wage and Income).

Once verified, you can immediately view and download your transcript as a PDF file.

  • Transcripts are available for the current year and up to 3 prior years
